Soft and Tired
2020
Soft sculpture | Lycra mesh, wadding, LED lights
Dwelling in the corner under a dressing table at The Substation, the softness and roundness of the sculpture contrast with the hard and angular structures in the dressing room. The object glows a quiet light, perhaps a little shy and a little vulnerable.
This site-specific sculpture was part of the exhibition Touch Me, Touch Me Not, held in collaboration with individuals with special needs to contemplate hostile architecture and social inclusion in Singapore.
